Un Yuca in Memphis. Why I'm here?

I am Sergio Adán Glory Canto, I have 19 years old and I from Yucatan, Mexico. I have 5 people in my family, my dad his name is Manuel Jesus Glory Canto, my mom Patricia Canto  Torres, my brother Carlos Adrian Glory Canto and my litter sister Eva Patricia Glory Canto.

My dad is pastor of Shalom Presbyterian Church from Merida, Yucatan, he works there. Shalom is one of the big  Presbyterian church's in Merida. Thanks to him I'm here.

My dad have two greats friends, the family Kings Bryce King and Noreen King and they works in other church is a Latin church the name is Esperanza Presbyterian Church in Memphis and they need a new pastor, so they spoke to my dad, that call changed my life.

After he spoke with us and he told us everything, when I heard the news, I felt very angry with my dad because I felt very comfortable in Merida, I had started law school I was excited. When the days passed I was liked the idea of going to Memphis.

My freshman yearn in law school finished and next prepare for move to Memphis. It was a difficult summer because it was my last summer in Merida for long time and more difficult when I knew my dad and my mom they can't go with paty and me because my dad need a special visa for work in Memphis and the visa need long time.

It was hard say goodbye my family and friends really hard but is new adventure for me.

The day arrived, august 20 the 2014 never forget this day.
